Braised Leeks and Onions

Ingredients


1 Large Leek


1 Large Onion


2 cups of stock or wine


2 tablespoons of olive oil


2 table spoons of butter


salt and pepper


Directions


Heat up pan with olive oil and after chopping the leeks and onion into large chunks season with the salt and pepper. Add the seasoned onions and leeks to the heated pan and oil. Seer the onions and leeks on all sides. Once veggies are seered add the stock and let simmer until reduced to about half. Add in butter and then braise for a few minute before serving.
